Werner and Adel Swart
Directors, Harvest Evangelism - Africa
Raised and trained in South Africa, Werner and Adel have been part of Harvest's ministry family since 1996. They ministered with the national City Reaching Ministry Team in Argentina for four years and were instrumental in the foundational stages of the model city reaching effort in Mar del Plata. Upon their return to South Africa in 2000, they were invited by one pastor to help apply the prayer evangelism strategy to the city of Witbank, which has developed into a vibrant multi-racial prototype for the nation. In the process, the Swarts have raised up a team of five families who are serving developing projects in a dozen cities across southern Africa. The Swarts moved to Uganda in April of 2007 in order to serve a national transformation process there.
