Our Calling..
In over twenty-five years of ministry, the Lord has allowed Harvest Evangelism to gestate a prototype for reaching entire cities and nations for Christ based on the biblical principles of marketplace transformation, prayer evangelism and intercession. The first "laboratory" was Resistencia, Argentina, where the implementation of these principles produced Church growth in of over 1100% and a significant change in the spiritual climate of the city. Other cities, such as San Nicolas and Mar del Plata in Argentina are also beginning to see similar breakthroughs.
In August of 1994, Ed Silvoso's book, That None Should Perish
, which spells out in detail the principles behind the prototype, was
published by Regal Books. Today, by God's grace, thousands of pastors
and lay people in hundreds of congregations are impacting cities around
the world through prayer evangelism. Harvest's staff is in position to
help guide city, region and nation-wide efforts as well as service
emerging prayer evangelism projects in nations around the world from
Hong Kong to Argentina to the United Kingdom.
Ed Silvoso's latest book Anointed for Business adapts the concepts of prayer evangelism into the workplace, where the greatest harvest of lives is beginning to be realized. Through this prophetic call and those of other marketplace ministers, the perceived wall between worship and labor is beginning to crumble and God's kingdom is moving into one of the final and most abundant harvest fields. Each
and all of the Harvest Evangelism ministries are dedicated to the task
of reaching the population centers of the world for the cause of
Christ. As in the beginning, the team remains committed to serve the
entire Body of Christ by praying to the Lord of the harvest for more
laborers (Matt. 9:38) and equipping those laborers already on the field
(Eph. 4:12) until the Great Commission is fulfilled.
